The Black Sand Beach Reynisfjara: In 1991, the US journal Islands Magazine counted this beach as one of the ten most beautiful beaches on Earth. In the beach there are plenty of beautiful basalt columns called the pipes. Out in the sea are the Reynisdrangar Rock Stacks. According to legend the stacks were formed when two trolls dragged a three-masted ship to land unsuccessfully and when daylight broke they were turned into rocks.

Day 5: Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, the Diamond Beach. Overnight at Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
Jökulsárlón-Glacial Lagoon: is one of Iceland´s natural wonders. Four Hollywood movies have been set in Jökulsárlón: A View to a Kill, Die Another Day, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Batman Begins as well as the “reality TV” series Amazing Race.

Amphibian Boat Ride: Enjoy a ride in the Lagoon where you get to see the icebergs upclose and get to taste this 1000 years old ice.

Hraunfossar Lava Waterfall: a series of waterfalls formed by rivulets over a distance of 900 meters, out of the Hallmundarhraun, a lava field which flowed from an eruption of a volcano under the glacier of Langjökull. This waterfall is unique and offers you stunning and amazing views of the waterfall.

Barnafoss the Children’s Fall: Just a stone up the Hraunfossar Lava Fall is the Children’s Fall. According to legend Barnafoss takes its name from two children who fell into the waterfall.

Deildartunguhver: Europe’s biggest hot springs.

Krauma has a total of six baths, five warm and one cold. No extra chemicals are needed to keep the pools clean, as the water is constantly being replaced because of the rapid natural flow rate of the hot springs.

Day 10: Transfer to the airport. End of service.

One of these nights will be a hunt of the northern lights, depending on weather. Because the northern lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee sighting of the lights. Unlike other big companies which have a regularly-run tour, we operate this tour only for a certain group. Hence if there is no sighting of the lights in the tour, it is not our policy to offer the same group for a free tour.

We operate this tour from the end of August to the end of October and April, assuming that flight landing is in the afternoon.
